Kodiak chocolate donuts

Image
These donuts are so easy to make and so delicious!  Inspiration for the recipe is from mudhustler. https://themudhustler.com/donuts 1 cup Kodiak crunchy peanut butter power cakes 1 cup Pillsbury SF brownie mix 2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder 1½ tsp Truvia ½ Tbsp baking powder 1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce 1½ cup cold water Mix and pour into donut molds.  375° 15 min for mini 24 donuts and 25 min 12 full size donuts WW smart points are 1 sp for a full size and 1 sp for 2 mini donuts Today I used Swerve confectioners sugar substitute and sprinkles for a festive touch.  But they are really good without the frosting in my opinion! Apple Cider Donuts

Image
This is a Mudhustler recipe.  Here is the link to his recipe  https://themudhustler.com/donuts Here is the recipe and my version: 2 scoops Devotion Nutrition Angel Food Cake protein powder 1 cup Kodiak Cakes buttermilk  high protein pancake mix 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp ground cinnamon 1 tsp apple pie spice 1/4 cup Sukrin gold brown sugar alternative 1 tsp vanilla 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce 1/2 cup spiced apple cider (Trader Joe's brand) 1 cup water Mix and spoon into 12 regular sized donut pans Makes 12 servings Bake 375° for 25 minutes (this is longer than original recipe) I rubbed some Truvia sugar substitute on the tops of the warm donuts. Each donut is WW 1 point and 6.6 carbs. Compare that to other apple cider donuts that are 14 to 16 WW points! These don't taste exactly like a regular donut BUT they are really good and because of the high protein they are very filling.  Enjoy! Smiles and hugs....Caryl

Peanut Butter Banana Bread

Image
Peanut Butter Banana Bread If you are searching on the internet for a banana bread recipe, it might be called salted caramel banana bread or another name.  The original recipe was 8 WW smart points for the whole thing. I made changes to the recipes I saw and this is my version: 3/4 cup Kodiak cakes crunch peanut butter 3 scoops Quest peanut butter protein powder 1 Tbsp + 1 tsp baking powder 2 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp nutmeg Mix these ingredients together.  (I put these 5 things in plastic bags to be ready to add the wet ingredients whenever I am ready to make this recipe.) 2 ½ - 3 bananas mashed (this measures to a heaping cup) 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla 1 cup water Place in greased bundt pan and bake 375° for 30 minutes 12 WW smart points for the whole thing
